    CHS is based in the United States, with headquarters near St. Paul, Minn. Employees based there support the cooperative’s business operations in energy, agronomy, grain marketing, animal nutrition, foods and food ingredients, and risk management services. CHS operates petroleum refineries and pipelines and manufactures, markets and distributes refined fuels, lubricants, propane and renewable energy products. We have retail operations in more than 450 communities in 16 states serving more than 140,000 customers.
